Most real estate agents in the Okanagan can describe a luxury property. Few can actually assess one. Scott Ross can. With more than 30 years of hands-on experience in luxury residential design and construction Scott has the capacity to read a property's build quality, materials and true value in a way most agents simply aren't equipped to.

That capacity comes from doing the work himself. With his partner, Heather, Scott built Squamish's first spec-built home priced over $1 million, a project covered by the Vancouver Sun as a new benchmark for the area. He later spent several years building homes in Germany, Japan and Mexico, refining techniques in innovative construction.

After moving to Kelowna, he raised the level of luxury home-building in the valley, pushing the envelope on both design and execution. He and Heather went on to build some of the valley's most notable luxury homes, including Mont des Cieux, winner of the Okanagan Housing Excellence Award.

In real estate, Scott is one half of Benedet & Ross, the team he and Natalie Benedet formed, together reaching $177.5 million in combined sales. The team operates as the Okanagan lead for Angell Hasman & Associates Realty Ltd., which closed $1.367 billion in sales in 2025.

Scott grew up in Squamish, British Columbia, and raced competitively in cross-country mountain biking at the national and international level - the discipline, endurance, and composure under pressure that competing at that level demands are the same qualities he brings to negotiating on his client's behalf today.
